Bbl. 24″ rnd. with bead front sight, sporting rear sight and scarce model 1873 folding tang sight that has peep disk above protected staff and uses a single mounting screw with pin above rear sight screw hole. Adj. disk is not present, sight is marked “PT. JUNE 19,1891”. Full length mag. Third Model action with case colored hammer and lever. Receiver, sideplates, carrier, dust cover, forearm cap and trapdoor crescent buttplate are nickel finished. Forearm and pistol grip stock with ebony inlay have factory style H hand checkering. Inside of top tang channel stamped “P / 5358”. Left inside of lower tang marked with matching assembly # “5358” followed by “XX” wood grade marking & “R”.
