Marked on right side of barrel lug “Patent Arms M’g. Co. Paterson N.J.-Colt’s Pt” terminating on either side with “snake and star” motif. Loading lever obscures rolled address. Browned barrel, remainder of metal blued, varnished walnut stock, 2.5” cylinder with rounded shoulders with chamfered chambers, heavy-duty 2-grooved wedge, rear sight is dovetailed fitted notched block, front sight is iron cone-shaped pin.
