This rare Mexican War era regulation Cavalry officer’s saber exhibits 36″ blade w/ 16″ etched panels retaining most of their original shine & luster w/ patriotic motifs including panoplies of arms, eagle, “U.S.”, mounted dragoon & standing Indian w/ tomahawk.

Sword is accompanied by its correct officer’s scabbard w/ wood lining & sm. ring mounts.
