In the 1960’s our family patriarch, Arthur Julia, began developing a small country auction house that quickly developed into a popular Maine auctioneering firm. Arthur Julia’s sons & daughters contributed to the family business’ success and some branched out with their own auction and antique firms. Before my grandfather, Arthur Julia, passed in early 2017 he shared his immense pride and awe in the growth and success of the companies that his family owned and operated. Arthur’s principles are what molded and shaped the company we are today. His no-nonsense, honest, hardworking, dedicated and straightforward yet personable approach has, without question, directly influenced and contributed to our success in the firearms-collecting community.
