Boyle & Gamble, Richmond, VA was the largest maker of officer swords in the Confederacy, finding beautiful “as found” examples however is rare. You will not find a more perfect and pleasing example in original scabbard of the pattern, wonderful brass patina, perfect scabbard leather, perfect leather grip. Blade has frosty 16″ etched panels on each side and retains protective leather washer. This is among the best Boyle & Gamble staff swords you will find, ex-Don Tharpe collection.
