WWII GERMAN FALLSCHIRMJAGER HELMET

A superb and original M1938 Fallschirmjager helmet manufactured between April and August of 1940. This particular batch number is found using both slotted and spanner bolts. The exterior has a deep gray painted finish with a single Luftwaffe decal on the left side. The interior rear is stamped “5078” and the interior left is stamped “ET66”, indicating manufacture by Eisenhuttenwerke firm of Thale. Complete original chinstrap that has one separation or cut. Helmet has a full liner that reads “Kopfweite: Gr.54 Stahlhelm – Gr. 66” and the partially legible lower stamp appears to read “_______ : Heisler Berlin C2 _______: M n. Leder Verarbeitung Werner Zahn”.
