Items formerly of the Terry Tyler collection now being sold as part of the Wayne McCutcheon collection:

Terry Tyler is from Dorset, VT, and by trade is a master electrician who also worked as a part-time police officer. Mr. Tyler has also been elected to a variety of public offices in the town of Dorset. He co-authored a book with Harry Phillips titled “Vermont Gunsmiths & Gunmakers to 1900” that was published in 2000. Nearly all of Terry Tyler’s esteemed collection of 107 Vermont-made firearms is on permanent display at the Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, VT. The four lots attributed to Mr. Tyler in this premier auction were sold to the consignor prior to the guns going to the Shelburne Museum.
