Commanded by Capt. S. Herrick, the ship sailing right to left in light winds. A larger ship in the background at sea. The entrance to harbor visible off the bow of the Alert. Housed in a gold gilt frame under glass with eglomise border. SIZE: overall 24″ x 30″, sight 16″ x 23″.
