All bbls. are 26″ with ventilated ribs having WS-1 & WS-2 chokes. Tops of ribs are marked “CUSTOM BUILT BY WINCHESTER”. Flatside receiver w/ no. 6 factory engraving having gold inlaid pheasants on the floor plate with partridge on the sides and a woodcock on the trigger guard. Complimentary engraving extends to the breech end of the bbls., forearm, irons and forearm latches. Gold plated single selective trigger, selective ejectors. Water table of action, all bbls and inside of forearms are machine jeweled. Each bbl. has an individually fit ebony tipped beavertail forearm of fancy walnut with style B fluer-de-lis carving. Pistol grip stock of fancy walnut with style B fluer-de-lis carving. Engraved steel grip cap is marked “GRAND AMERICAN” in gold. Toeline has an unmarked gold presentation plate. LOP: 14 1/8″ to fluer-de-lis checkered butt. DAC: 1 1/2″. DAH: 2 1/2″. Stock has a slight cast off for right-handed shooter. Weight with 20 ga. bbls: 7 lbs, 1.4 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Company letter dated April 11th, 2012. Letter identifies this 3 bbl. set as a Grand American shotgun obtained from the liquidators of U.S. Repeating Arms in New Haven CT. Letter confirms configuration of the gun. Letter further states “We have gone through this gun mechanically and detailed it out to 100% pristine condition, and the above listed information is being submitted to the Cody Firearms Museum Records Office. We hope that you enjoy this fine shotgun for many years to come, and we are certain that this gun will compliment your existing collection.”. Letter is signed by Antony Galazan, President. Gun is housed in a John Hall molded case. CONDITION: near excellent as detailed by CSM retaining 99% wood & metal finish. All bores are near excellent.
