Bbl 1. 28″ vent rib
Fixed Mod & full chokes. Bbl 2. 26 1/2″ vent rib w/ Fixed Skeet & Skeet chokes. Both bbls. have red target front sights w/ white mid beads. Boxlock action w/ gold finished single selective trigger & selective ejectors. Diana grade engraving features marsh scene w/ mallards on right side, upland scene w/ pheasants on left, flushing partridge on the bottom w/ rabbits on the trigger guard bow. Scenes are surrounded by foliate scroll w/ flowing banners & straight line borders that continue to the forearm irons.
Engraver signature “Legiers” is found at bottom of game scenes on both sides of action. Charles Legiers engraved at FN in the 1950s-60s, later he was professor of engraving at Ecole d’Armererie de Liege. Lightning style forearms & round knob pistol grip stock of fancy European walnut. LOP: 14 1/8″ over Browning ventilated pad.
DAC: 1 3/8″. DAH: 1 7/8″. Neutral cast. WEIGHT w/ 26 1/2″ bbls: 6 lbs, 5.8 oz.
