I. HOLLIS MARKED COLT 1862 POCKET NAVY CASED ENGRAVED REVOLVER WITH CASE.

Bbl. 4 1/2″ octagon w/ bead sight. Top flat engraved “I. Hollis & Sons London”. Five shot round rebated cyl. Blue finish w/ brass grip straps. Frame, bbl., loading lever, grip straps & cyl. have 75% coverage of late style fine vine type foliate scroll w/ straight line & fancy borders. Frame lacks the normal patent markings. Bbl., frame, grip straps & wedge have matching S#s. Front grip strap has additional S# marking w/ an upside-down “7”. 1 Piece walnut grip. Mfg. 1862.
UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: period wood case w/ brass trim. Faded red cloth fitted interior. Case contains powder flask, 2 cavity mold, oil bottle, cap tin, case key & round balls.
