PAINTED “MUTUAL FIRE SOCIETY” FIRE BUCKET LIKELY FROM BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS

Dated what appears to be 1829. Banner reads “Mutual Fire Society No. 2”. Above is a pair of shaking hands with white lace cuffs. The top of the bucket with red painted collar as well as the foot. Bucket is also impressed “C. Lincoln” on either side of the seam near the top.
SIZE: 12 1/2″ h x 8 1/4″ dia at the top.
