Super rare, high condition Walther P.38 “480” code w/standard 5″ bbl. having drift adjustable front sight & fixed rear sight. Left side of slide w/ the single line address referencing the model, “480” code & full S#. The triad of acceptance proofs on the right side of the slide, the last 2 proofs w/ slight haloing as is correct.
The full S# is on the forward surface of the bbl. lug & repeated together w/ the “480” on the left side of the frame. Disassembly shows a matching locking block. Each of the dark brown grips are proofed & marked w/ a matching “958”. Matching mag. w/ “6958+” on the left side of mag. wall. Major & most minor parts w/ the usual eagle / “359” Walther acceptance.
