WANENMACHER’S TULSA ARMS SHOW will open the doors at Expo Square (Tulsa Fairgrounds)
to the public on April 6 & 7. From a modest start in 1955, the show has grown to almost 6 miles of exhibits.
The world’s largest gun and knife show will fill the eleven-acre building with more than 4,250 exhibits of
very fine antique and modern firearms, knives, swords and accessories, on display and for sale.
General-interest exhibits will include wildlife and western art, bronze work and jewelry. Several
collectors’ organizations will be present with outstanding exhibits and items to sell. The Browning Collectors
and Smith & Wesson Collectors will be featured guests. The Wanenmacher show is international in scope,
drawing exhibitors and spectators worldwide.
The public is invited to bring their firearms, swords, and knives for a free appraisal, or to sell or
trade. If you are thinking of upgrading, you will find the largest selection and best prices. Most exhibitors will
take your gun in trade.
The show will feature celebrity guests. You will have the opportunity to meet Gunsmoke’s Buck
Taylor, as well as Jim West, star of “Alaska Wild West”. Don’t miss the NRA National Firearms Museum’s
display entitled, “Two Hollywood Greats. Two Sharps Rifles. Two NRA Leaders”.
Admission is free with the purchase of a new NRA (National Rifle Association) membership at the
door. Receive a discounted price of only $30, which includes a free cap valued at $16.95, plus free
admission. Several thousand spectators took advantage of this offer during the past year.
WANENMACHER’S TULSA ARMS SHOW brings more than nineteen million dollars to Tulsa
annually, and more people attend WANENMACHER’S TULSA ARMS SHOW than any other 2-day event at
the Tulsa Fairgrounds. The show is open to the public Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 4
p.m.
Advance admission, V.I.P. Passes, will be sold at 2A Shooting Center, Green Country Arms &
Pawn, Sports World, and Gray’s Jewelry Gun and Pawn in Tulsa and Broken Arrow, and RJ’s Gun Shop in
Broken Arrow. In the Oklahoma City vicinity, passes are available at C & J Sporting Goods in Bethany.
