EXTREMELY RARE “EXHIBITION” DELUXE WINCHESTER MODEL 1895 RIFLE FROM THE JOHN OLIN COLLECTION WITH MATTED BBL AND ENGLISH WALNUT STOCKS.

Mfg. 1908. Full matted 28″ tapered rnd. bbl. is fitted with semi-buckhorn rear sight and pedestal mounted German silver blade front. Bbl., cal. & Winchester proof marks are offset to the left to accommodate bbl. matting. Rear of bbl is also stamped with London nitro proofs. Blued action has Winchester markings on left side. Straight grip buttstock appears to be of well-marbled and nicely figured European walnut and measures 13 1/4″ over solid red “Winchester” pad. “Deluxe” style point pattern checkering wraps under grip. Matching schnabled forend has inlet hard rubber tip. Sling eyes are dovetailed through bottom of bbl. & on toeline of stock.
