The HK21 is often thought the pinnacle of a serious HK collection. A heavy bbl. MG w/ quick change capability; this belt fed masterpiece is as uncommon as it is desirable. Starting life as a registered receiver HKG3, originally converted by Fleming Firearms, this example has undergone the tedious and exhausting transformation at Vollmer mfg. into the highly coveted HK21. All external metal surfaces are parkerized & furniture is dark, jungle green. Quick change bbl. is terminated w/ the factory flash hider. The bipod mechanism can be utilized either on the muzzle end in a traditional fashion or just forward of the receiver where corresponding slots exist for both. Traditional hooded front post sight & 1200m rear peep sight. Trigger group is housed in a metal SEF lower. The proper HK21 stock is utilized including the tripod mounting point, rear of the takedown pins. Markings include left side data plate above belt feed mechanism, which reads: “HK21 A047627” & right side on belt feed mechanism: “Conversion by / Vollmer MFG. / Bloomington ILL. / HK91 / Made in Germany / HK Inc. / Arl. VA. 22201”.
