STUNNING 20 GA. A. GALAZAN BOSS STYLE O/U GAME GUN WITH TRULY SUPERB BULINO ENGRAVING BY V. PELI OF CREATIVE ART

A. Galazan and his CSMC company continue to amaze the world by creating some of the most beautiful guns ever, mostly highlighted by his line of bespoke over and under guns. This wonderful example has 28″ demi-block barrels fitted with solid matted rib. Top barrel is marked “A. GALAZAN.” on left side of rib and “CONNECTICUT MFG. CO.” “N.B. CT U.S.A.” on right. Barrel flats are engraved with S# and caliber. Coin finished Boss style O/U action with non-automatic safety and non-selective single trigger is completely pinless. The only screw slots seen in all the metal work on this gun are the two that attach trigger guard tang to stock. This resulted in a blank canvas upon which master engraver Valerio Peli of Creative Art worked his magic. His exquisite composition consists of a full coverage sweeping array of foliage, flowers and scrolls which are given depth with fine shading. Flower blossoms include sunflowers, hibiscus and an array of other wildflowers along with a few roses that terminate in larger scrolls. The shaded niches of these scrolls are occupied by song birds perched in various poses. It appears that this fine work was commissioned for a women who had a love of these things and her portrait is found on bottom of action rendered in photographic Bulino style. A banner across bottom rear of action is engraved “CREATIVE ART” “V. PELI”. “GALAZAN” is gold inlaid on left lockplate. Single beaded trigger guard is gold inlaid with the initials “RJB” surrounded by more flowers, foliage and a few birds. This coverage continues onto trigger guard tang which is also gold inlaid with S#. Straight grip buttstock is made from a piece of exhibition quality crotch figured and beautifully marbled European walnut which measures 14-1/2″ over checkered wood butt with steel heel and toe plates engraved with flowers and scrolls matching action. Full one piece matching ejector forend with Anson release has shaped ejector housing iron inspired by Boss which is also engraved en suite.
