RARE LATE WAR STEYR VK-98 GERMAN BOLT ACTION RIFLE

Cal. 8×57 (8mm Mauser)
S# 6797
Bbl. 21″. Blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Matching numbers on bbl. & bolt handle. Other parts unnumbered & bottom of bolt has proper “V” marking. Simplified late war German Mauser style rifle made to arm Volksstrum. Receiver top marked “bnz 45” denoting Steyr mfr. in 1945. Phosphate finish. Beech “Slab” stock with leather sling.
