Bbl. 24″ octagon w/ original sporting sights. Tubular mag. Action has factory E grade engraving. Right side features a squirrel on a limb. Left side vignette features 2 cottontail rabbits. Top of receiver has portrait of a hound that is extra engraving, not normally found on an E grade. Scenes are surrounded by vine type foliate scroll & fancy borders. Complimentary engraving extends to upper & lower receiver areas along w/ breech end of bbl. Round forearm & round knob pistol grip stock of fancy thinshell walnut having vivid dark streaking w/ crescent steel buttplate. Forearm & wrist of stock have point pattern factory hand checkering. Mfg. 1912.
