LOT 2105. BEAUTIFUL RENAISSANCE ENGRAVED BELGIAN BROWNING MEDALIST SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH FACTORY CASE & ACCESSORIES

S# 47796T72. Bbl
6 3/4″. Medalist semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Belgium and imported/retailed by Browning Arms Company in 1972. Left side of the bbl. is marked with Browning’s importer information, with “22 LR. BROWNING PATENTS/ MADE IN BELGIUM” marked on the right. Front grip strap is marked with the S#. Slide features renaissance grade engraved panels of near full coverage foliate scrollwork on a punch dot background, with matching pattern panels present over the top of the bbl., and with foliate scroll motifs present overall. Metal components exhibit a French gray finish overall, save for on the trigger, which features a gold washed finish. 1-piece wood thumb rest grip and schnabel tip “forend” exhibit matching pattern scroll engraving on a punch dot background. V/R with blade front sight and adj. square notch rear sight. MAGS: 1 10-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: factory black leatherette case, containing a factory manual, ammunition block, disassembly tool, as well as target weights.
