RARE “CALIFORNIA” 31 STAR FLAG

This is a wonderful totally hand sewn “great star” configuration of a 31 star flag commemorating the state of California with the large 4-1/2″ central star surrounded by thirty 2″ stars forming a 5-pointed star outline. This flag was official from July 4, 1851 with California statehood till July 4, 1858 when Minnesota became the 32rd state. This flag is beautifully made by someone with excellent hand sewing skill, with most desirable pattern of stars, 1″ folded hoist has “H. K. Weaver” inked and 5 hand whipped eyelets.
