BEAUTIFUL DOCUMENTED WINCHESTER 1873 DELUXE THIRD MODEL LEVER ACTION RIFLE

We have here, an original deluxe 1873 third model that has been masterfully brought back to life by Turnbull Restoration in what can only be described as a preservation of American firearms manufacturing history. Bbl. 24″ octagon With Lyman flip up globe front sight & semi buckhorn rear. Lyman no. 1 tang sight. Color case hardened receiver, hammer, lever, forend cap & trap buttplate. Blued bbl. & full length mag tube. Single set trigger. Nitre blued loading gate. Checkered pistol grip ebony tipped buttstock & forend of select XXX walnut. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: original 4 piece Winchester cleaning rod housed in butt trap. Turnbull Restoration invoice detailing work performed in February 2020 which, at that time, totaled nearly $5,000. Winchester Factory Letter stating the following: “Type: Rifle / Caliber: 38 / Barrel Type: Octagon / Trigger: Set / Checkered stock, Pistol grip / Casehardened / Received in warehouse on October 09, 1889 / Shipped from warehouse on June 19, 1890 Order number 13680.”
