Manufactured in 1985 as a limited run of 1,200 total revolvers by Lew Horton Distribution. 600 revolvers were produced with 6″ barrels with 600 being produced with 4″ barrels. Bbl. 4″ w/ vent rib & full lug. Red ramp front sight w/ white outline adj. rear sight. Six shot fluted cyl. Blue finish. 2 piece checkered rosewood grips.
UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: letter from Colt Firearms Division detailing the following information, “Serial Number: BOA0775 / Caliber: .357 Magnum / Barrel Length: 4″ / Finish: Royal Blue / Type of Stocks: Checked Rosewood / Shipped To: Lew Horton Distributing Co. / Address: 175 Boston Road, Southboro, MA 01772 / Date of Shipment: March 21, 1985 / The BOA was a limited Colt production featuring 600 6″ barrels with even serial numbers and 600 4″ barrels with odd serial numbers. Serial number range was BOA0001 thru BOA1200. The firearm was designed with a fully shrouded ejector rod housing and was roll marked BOA.357 on the barrel.”. Also includes foam-lined wood grain box w/ proper label & S#. Box contains instruction packet & hang tag.
