This revolver is an early 4 screw model cut for stock. Configuration identical to the few other stocked survivors in this late 3rd model range. 7.5″ barrel with one line Hartford address, dovetailed blade front sight, small rounded iron trigger guard with sling swivel attached. This is a beautiful brass bound London cased example, owners initials in lid escutcheon/handle “CWD”. Revolver has all matching S#s including stock. Revolver has proper British proofs on barrel & cylinder. Accoutrements are matching and fine. The Dixon flask is marked “COLTS NAVY FLASK”. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: small file of notes and research, receipt.
