Bbl. 4 1/2″ w/ Hartford address. This desirable revolver is indicative of those ordered by the large New York wholesale houses w/ “soft” finish to be engraved & finished to suit the customer’s wishes. Bbl., frame, grip straps & cyl. have 75% coverage of vine type foliate scroll w/ punch dot backgrounds. Full nickel finish. 2 piece Ivory grips. Six shot long flute cyl. Frame & trigger guard have matching numbers. Bbl. & cyl. are unnumbered. Mfg. 1897. CONDITION: fine retaining over 90% nickel finish. Grips show some age related shrinking & checking. Sound mechanics. Bore shows some very light pitting & worn rifling.
