NORMAN MILLS PRICE (American, 1877-1951) “THE INTRUDER”

Oil on artist board interior bedroom scene with a nightstand beside a bed with a pipe, candlestick, humidor and a cordial glass on top. A man stands with tattered clothes, clenched fist and a revolver in his right hand looking like he is ready to fight. His wife peers from what looks like a closet door with lawmen escorting out an intruder with a glowing lantern to light the way. The floor in the bedroom shows signs of a struggle with clothes turned out of a suitcase and thrown around on the floor. Signed lower left “Norman Price”. Housed in a molded gold frame with fabric liner. SIZE: overall 21″ x 33″, sight 15″ x 27 1/2″.
