Circa 1903. Watercolor on academy board features a full bust portrait of a Sioux Chief with feathered fur hat, braided hair, red bandana, and blue shirt. Titled upper left, signed and dated “G. Garrett” lower right. Housed in a period gold gilt deep molded frame with gesso decoration, matted under glass. SIZE: overall 20″ x 18 1/2″, sight 9″ x 7 3/4″.
