A FINE & UNUSUAL 19th CENTURY CARVED HAIDA PAINTED TOTEM

Last quarter 19th century, Northwest Coast. The nicely carved and painted figures depict a stylized beaver figure at the top. A series of entries on the verso record a journey through the region in the 1890s; most are illegible from wear and abrasion. SIZE: 15″ l.
