Oil on artist board depicting Portland Lighthouse with outbuildings on the left with waves breaking on the rocks in the foreground. Large sailing ships in the distance against cloud filled background. Signed and dated lower left “Geo. McConnell” and “1906”. Housed in a gold molded repainted frame. Academy board label for “Gould & Whipple, Portland, ME” on the reverse.
