Bbl. 43 3/4″ full oct. signed “A Fogelsanger.” Hand forged unmarked flint lock. Stock is profusely relief carved curly maple w/ some silver wire inlay at comb. Cheekpiece features a 2 headed silver eagle surrounded by wire inlay. Engraved brass toe plate is 7 1/4″ long. The relief carving on this rifle is extremely well done and covers entire rifle from buttplate to the rear ramrod pipe. A beautiful piece of work.
