1928 Model of the infamous Thompson MSG, “the gun that made the 20’s roar”. Classic hard wood furniture including horizontal forend w/ 27 count finned bbl. & Cutts compensator. This model could function w/ both the stick mag. & the drum mags. to finish the iconic look. Top rd. cocking knob. Front blade rear sight w/ rear ladder incorporating a peep sight for longer distances. Removable buttstock. Select fire, open bolt firing mechanism. Left side receiver reads “US MODEL 1928”, “THOMPSON SUBMACHINE GUN”, “CALIBER. 45 M1″ & “Fire – Safe”. Right side receiver includes US patent block, “AUTO-ORDNANCE CORPORATION”, “WEST HURLY, NEW YORK U.S.A.”. Top of receiver, between rear sight & cocking handle is Thompson bullet logo.
